Artist and Phrase of the Week

Artist of the week: The one the only JAMES BROWN! Any of his music at all. I'm sorry but you really need to get on the good foot uh!

Old geezer phrase of the week: "I'll be back in two shakes of a lamb's tail." Try busting this one out in everyday life on someone and watch their head snap around as they say what the heck did you just say?

Please respond if you have attempted to use any of these old phrases in your life and the result of doing such. Also is anyone listening to any awesome music lately? Feel free to use this blog to tell others about what music is ruling your world right now! You can comment by clicking the comment button below.

I'm glad you are back online. I have missed it probably more than you. I love your parka! You look like you fit in with life up there now. Let me know if you need more CD supplies and I will send them to you. Anything else you need as well. I love you very much and miss you terribly but you know, if you can make it out at Christmas, it is just 8 weeks until you are home for the holidays. I hope it all works out because I need you home. And how about those Cougs!? There is always hope when you are a Cougar. Love mom

Is that new parka bright orange by any chance? if so, you need to post a color picture so that everyone can see the full glory of it! A pic of the arctic science crew patch would also do it some justice. glad your back online, i look forward to your blog posts. I went to a halloween party last night and their was a teacher from mekoryuk there, jaz. anyway, we got to talking about you and agreed that you would have been having a great time if you were there. take care

Hey Kale,
Your mom called and told me about your grandpa. Im so sorry and I know it must be hard for you being all the way up there.
I enjoyed reading your site...talking about certain music and what it reminds you of...all the old Bob Dylan stuff reminds me of your mom!! It sounds like we like alot of the same music...especially Michael Franti, a favorite of Lael's (my daughter) and mine. Take care!
Jill (your mom and dad's OLD friend)
