Wind blows rain sideways
Glasses covered with mist drops
Kaleidoscope eyes

Puddles in the mud
Brown water pools all around
Skies unreflected

Bare down against it
Buried faces in their hoods
Winter is coming

Outside sighs make clouds
Steamy breath fog warms the hands
When pockets fail them

You need to look into getting your compilation of writings published. You are so talented! When I read your poems and writings I feel like I am with you. Thanks for that. I love you, Mom
